WAHU works every day to protect your right to earn a living in this
industry. We represent you in Washington, D.C. and right here in Madison
at the Capitol. But it takes more than just our representation from
our Lobbyists. Like anything worth fighting for, it takes you. WAHU
has put together a program that will allow you to make our voice
heard. It’s called Capitol Hill Club and it combines our WAHU
Legislative Service (which is our conduit called WLS) and our WAHUPAC
(which is our Political Action Committee).
WLS & WAHUPAC collects and distributes contributions to state
and federal candidates and elected officials. This legal entity
receives contributions from individuals, like you, and deposits
them in a bank account, and then transfers contributions to a candidate
or political committee. WLS allows you to select where you want
the contributions to go. WAHUPAC uses a Committee to determine where
contributions are best spent.
Why contribute? Because we want to, with enough clout, help shape
the future of our industry. It is this industry that has provided
us all with good paying jobs and a fantastic career. We need to
make sure this industry is preserved for the benefit of all.
